Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bamaja mobile application and related services (the "App"), operated by Bamaja Integrated Online Services ("Bamaja", "we", "us"), Lagos, Nigeria. By downloading, registering for, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

Bamaja provides a set of tools within one app, which currently includes an AI photo studio, an AI assistant, a personal coaching tool, a learning tool and a news feed, along with a community chat. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.

2. Eligibility and accounts

The App is intended for adults. You register using your phone number, which is verified by a one-time code. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone secure. Provide accurate information when registering.

3. Credits and payments

• Some features use credits. New users receive a number of free credits to start.
• Additional credits may be purchased. Payments are processed by our payment partner, Paystack.
• Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Because credits deliver a digital service that is used immediately, purchased credits are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where a clear technical fault on our side prevented the service from being delivered. If you are charged but a generation fails due to our system, the credit for that action is returned to your balance.

4. Acceptable use

When using the App, you agree NOT to:

• Upload photos of other people without their consent, or impersonate anyone.
• Create, upload or share content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or that infringes anyone's rights.
• Use the App to deceive, defraud or harm others.
• Post abusive language, spam, or harmful content in the community chat.
• Attempt to disrupt, hack, overload or misuse the App or its systems.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload and the content you create. By using the App, you grant us permission to process your uploads in order to provide the features you request (for example, generating an image). You are responsible for the content you upload and post, and you confirm you have the right to use it.

6. AI-generated content

Results in the App are produced by automated AI systems. They are provided for personal and creative use. AI output may contain mistakes or imperfections and should not be relied on as professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Coaching and learning content is for general guidance only and does not guarantee any particular result, income or outcome.

7. Community chat

The community chat is a shared space for registered users. Be respectful. Do not post private information. We may moderate, hide or remove posts, and restrict users who break the rules.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the App running well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Features may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Bamaja is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is".

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or misuse the service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest change. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
